Sunrose Oil Sunflower is a 100% locally bred variety.
It has medium height and a strong root system, providing high drought tolerance.
Compared to the most sold oil sunflower varieties, it has equal or higher oil content and grain yield.
The most suitable planting pattern is 70 cm between rows and 19–23 cm between plants.
Sunrose is a medium-early variety with high tolerance to broomrape (Orobanche spp.) and downy mildew.
It has high self-pollination ability and does not shed seeds from the head.
The fully inclined head provides protection against sunburn and bird damage.
It is compatible with Granstar technology and tolerant to this herbicide, without slowing down growth after application.
