Avesa Seeds started its activities in the field of seed production in the private sector about 12 years ago. Our company, which has made a significant progress in this field until today, has started the production of various products such as wheat, fodder peas, chickpeas, dried beans, oil hybrid sunflower, alfalfa and onion seeds. Pursuant to the Seed Law No. 5553, our company, which has established the necessary infrastructure, has been registered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as a "Private Sector Agricultural Research Organization" in field crops and vegetable plant groups. Our R&D activities continue intensively.

As a result of the variety development activities we have carried out to date, two red hard bread wheat varieties named CÖMERT and DESTAN, one dry bean variety named ÖZMEN, and one onion variety named KILIÇARSLAN have been registered. Seed production of our clover variety named TOMRIS, which is in the trial phase, and our oil sunflower variety named OLIMP, which was developed in cooperation with Safgen Tohumculuk, is in the trial phase. Our breeding and variety development activities will continue to increase in the coming years.

With the seed production we have realized so far, our company, which provides breeder rights to public seed organizations and ensures that the seeds it produces reach the producers, aims to bring foreign currency to our country from abroad as well as taking a share from the market shares of international seed organizations in our country.

In addition to the production of efficient and high quality seeds, we also aim to contribute to agriculture by informing the growers and producers who receive these seeds about the correct cultivation techniques. Avesa Seeds Food and Livestock Ltd. Şti. is at the heart of agriculture, providing a significant support to the national economy with the valuable contributions we provide to our producers.
